EIB Social Innovation Tournament

The EIB Institute in collaboration with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Demola-Budapest and the European Entrepreneurship Foundation, requests the pleasure of your company to the Final Event of the 2013 Edition of the Social Innovation Tournament. Sixteen finalists will present their proposals at this Final Event, to be held in Budapest on 17 October 2013.

A Screening Committee, composed of European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Investment Fund (EIF) experts in partnership with the European Entrepreneurship Foundation, reviewed the proposals received and selected 16 finalists for the second round. The finalists will present their proposed projects at the final event, to be held in Budapest on 17 October. A Jury, comprising specialists from the academic and business worlds, will identify and nominate the winners. All 16 projects will compete for the General Category 1st and 2nd Prizes of EUR 25 000 and EUR 10 000 respectively. Projects falling under the Special Category of Environment will also compete for the Special Category Prize of EUR 25 000. Up to two projects, not necessarily prize winners, may receive a voucher entitling the project team to benefit from subsequent coaching/ mentoring services.
