PROGRAM

17.30 Networking.
18.00 Relationships are complicated: How UX Research and Data Analysis come together at Zendesk (Brent Palmer)
The real designers in the room are the ones who make the decisions. How you facilitate discussions and support your solutions may be more important than the design itself. Learn how to incorporate data into one’s delivery to improve footing with stakeholders. I’ll walk through cases where analytics and stories came together to offer richer, more compelling narratives.
18.30 Using LEGO to explore User Stories (Lucas Wxyz)
I would like to share my experience using LEGO to create and explore User Stories. While there will not be a workshop, I would like to present examples from what has been explored on a few sessions done with students and clients.
19.00 The Funky Drummer: 3 Ways to Supercharge Collaborative Creativity (Tom Illmensee)
November, 1969. Ten musicians in Ohio created one of the most iconic songs in the history of pop music - all without any written music or even much of a plan. How did they do it? How can user experience professionals apply these techniques? This talk will explore three unusual superpowers designers can leverage to spark collaborative creativity with any team.
