The wave of agile transformation has long left the IT and software development teams and it is heading towards new departments and industries, including the financial sector. However, agile is hard to master and many companies are struggling to scale agile within the organization and deliver on its most wanted outcomes such as better project visibility, faster delivery or enhanced productivity.

On 4th March we are bringing together varied perspectives from the corporate and startup world to get a hint on how investment in business agility can really lead to tangible benefits for the firms and their employees. First, Ákos Légrádi (McKinsey) will give you an outlook on the latest agile trends, then Barnabás Málnay (EIT Digital, Smartware.Tech) will explore what Ákos Légrádi, Zoltán Attila Rozgonyi (OTP Bank), a representative of NN and Joseph McElmeel (SymbaSync) think of the agile evolution in a round-table discussion.

Akos Legradi
Akos Legradi is an Associate Partner at the Budapest office of McKinsey & Co and a co-leader of the Budapest-based Enterprise Agility Center within McKinsey. Akos joined McKinsey in 2010 and has gained experience in banking, telco and energy industries across Europe since then. Most recently, he has led multiple large-scale corporate agile transformation both in banking and outside of banking industry.

Barnabás Málnay
Barnabás is partner at the hardware and IoT focused early-stage startup investor Smartware.Tech and business developer at the pan-European digital innovation and international business development organization EIT Digital. He is also managing director at the Hungarian Mobility and Multimedia Cluster.

Joseph McElmeel
Joseph combines 20+ years of business experience in hiring, team creation, project management, and change management where building high performing agile teams can often mean the difference between success or failure. He’s utilising his experience as the founder and CEO of SymbaSync Ltd, an Agile Team Creation and Talent Sourcing software.

Zoltán Attila Rozgonyi
Zoltan is a Deputy Managing Director at the IT Development Directorate of OTP Bank. He has served at various leading IT and operations positions and accumulated 14 years of leadership and 16 years of IT experience. He assumed IT application development roles in Telco and Financial services sectors and customer operations roles in SSC and industrial sectors. Most recently, he is focused on supporting OTP Bank’s agile transformation.
