The InnoTrade Program and Enterprise Hungary are organizing the Startup Campus V4 Global Tour 2018 which aims to boost the discoverability of Central and Eastern European startups on a global scale by connecting them with foreign partners and their specific needs. To help better prepare how these startups approach US markets in particular, 2 key speakers will hold a workshop to address the do's & don'ts of selling to corporations and tech solution providers.

Program

  • 16:00-16:15 Introduction of the USA stops of the V4 Global Tour: Sebastian Tamas (Director of Innovations of Hungarian National Trading House)
  • 16:15-18:00 Winning New Business in the USA - Workshop: Maria Sullivan (The Channel Company), Philip Walker (CEO of Network Solutions Provider)

The workshop will be held by Maria Sullivan (Senior Director of The Channel Company) and Philip Walker (CEO of Network Solutions Provider). They will share strategies for selling your tech startup products to USA-based clients & solution providers. The workshop will be interactive, so don't be shy and take advantage.

After the workshop, you will have time to liaise with both speakers. Maria can provide guidance on trade events that offer a conducive format for "winning new business". Philip has partnered with many international companies from around the world and is interested in meeting with Hungarian IT companies to understand their offering and value.
