Niko is an entrepreneur, investor with huge CEE experience, started the first incubator in SEE, made several early stage investments - invested also in Hungary. He is also professor of entrepreneurship at several business schools.
About Balázs: (https://hu.linkedin.com/in/bbedo)
In the VC/PE industry from 1997 (almost 20 years!) with Fastventures. Managed deals and invested in companies like Fathom (acquired by EPAM), MediMass or Omixon. Recently started an accelerator which is looking for startups to invest.

18.30: panel discussion with Niko and Balázs:
- their experience and lessons learned with HU companies and startups, pros and cons compared to other international startups / entrepreneurs, do we have strengths, advantages?
- early stage and cross-border investments in this region: is this working? What will they expect? Stronger regional connections? More/less international investor interest?
- who has chance to find investor outside her local country? Which stage?
- how to scaleup from these small countries, any secret sauce?
And of course Q&A with the audience.
